1.1 The problem of market centralization
The disorderly competition of China's textile exports is reflected in the distribution of export markets. In the process of implementing diversification strategy, the export market is still too concentrated, and the export market structure is not reasonable and unevenly distributed. According to statistics, about 75% of China's exports (including Hong Kong) are concentrated in Western Europe and North America, while the export markets of Eastern Europe, ASEAN, Africa and Russia are still not paid attention to.
1.2 Low-price bidding
Over the years, low-price marketing has become the main competitive means for China's textile exports. The growth of foreign trade exports mainly relies on the increase of volume to achieve, and the economic efficiency is declining. Our enterprises compete with each other in the overseas market and low price competition, so that China's export products have more input and less income, and the loss of foreign exchange income is serious, resulting in the outflow of fat water, which aggravates the decline of profitability.
1.3 Excessive competition
The over-competitive market structure has the following basic characteristics.
A large number of enterprises have entered the industry Under the premise of low efficiency of the industry, there are obstacles for enterprises to exit, and the existing export policy cannot effectively realize the market law of elimination of winners and losers, which makes the situation more and more serious.
1.4 The phenomenon of infringement of intellectual property rights is serious
The technical content of textile fabrics is relatively low and easy to imitate, which causes enterprises without the ability of technical innovation not to develop, and enterprises with the ability to develop are reluctant to develop, and all want to find ready-made samples to imitate, resulting in the rapid development of enterprises with technical development ability in the market. Enterprises have no incentive to develop new products and protect their intellectual property when the cost is high and the benefit is small.
1.5 Meet the low-end market, lack of brand awareness
The proportion of China's exports with independent intellectual property rights, independent brands and high value-added products is very low, and the comparative benefits obtained in international trade are less, and the international competitiveness and anti-risk ability are weaker. A large number of enterprises are engaged in branded exports, mainly in processing and manufacturing to participate in the international division of labor, with little participation in the high value-added aspects of research and development and marketing, marked by brand, which affects trade revenue and is not conducive to the improvement of international competitiveness and sustainable development of foreign trade; at the same time, such low-technology, low value-added products are often more vulnerable to anti-dumping investigations.
1.6 Textile exports are frequently subject to green barriers
The international trend of green consumption has begun to influence China's textile and clothing exports. With the concept of green, ecological and so on gradually being widely recognized by consumers, the ecological requirements of textile and clothing will quickly become a major obstacle to China's textile and clothing exports, expanding international market share.
